About:
Set towards the late end of the second millennium, Squadron 42 is a single player game set within the Star Citizen universe. In it, players will take the role of a UEC pilot rising through the ranks of the UEC Navy's Squadron 42. The game is currently under development with an announced release 2026.
The project has been showcased in various stages of development and iterations over the years. My work was done on the version that was showcased at 2023s Citizen Con with the "I held the line" trailer. As the game is upcoming limited details are available, however I have helped in taking various levels to a polished and playable state both from an earlier blockout stage as well as by iterating on already existing layouts. My main focus has been FPS combat and stealth centered missions within mainly the first half of the game, working on making sure the flow, combat, pacing and difficulty of the game matches with the storybeats and then polishing, making sure everything feels up to scratch with the expected quality of a AAA game.
